What a year brings . . .

Cruising with the oldest two and dancing with the youngest two
This weekend marked the compeltion of one of the most incredible years our family has ever experienced.
It started off with the addition of two more little Clark boys when Jake and Grady were born into our lives July 3, 2008.
And ended with a bang this weekend as we dove into Lake Allatoona and danced in the living room.
In the middle . . .
As a family we’ve logged over 10,000 miles in the van – OH to GA and back again, and again, and again.
We have lived in three homes in the last year – moving our stuff (a.k.a. crap) more than you would want to in a lifetime.
We have spent roughly $1200 in formula and untold riches in diapers, wipes, doctors, and a second of everything we thought we would never purchase again (see stuff you need for twins).
We have left our families. Parents, Grand Parents, Siblings, Cousins – everyone outside of the six of us who we could call no matter what/when/why now lives 700 miles away.
We have left our friends. Thirty plus years in one place builds friendships that last – but proximaty makes a difference. We have started over gettting close to people who are close.
We have moved to the South. I now understand “you might be a redneck jokes” (see confederate flag tattoos).
We have searched for a church family. Experiencing healing and comfort from our Daddy above – through his children.
We have begun a new adventure and have just experienced the first landmark in our new home, our twin boys first birthday, and at the end of this landmark weekend although much is new – one thing isn’t, our God is faithful and has blessed us exceedingly abundantly above all that we could ask or even think to ask.
Thanks Lord for your goodness this year – we can’t wait for what’s next!

Hey Josh, So glad to hear what God has done in your lives. I have been wondering since you left. Your sons look precious. You have always been a blessing to me. Keep pressing on Josh. Tell your bride hello from Cheryl and I. Thanks for your investment in our lives. We love and miss you guys. Randy and Cheryl.
Will do – what little muscles I have left were discovered at your gym as a teenager – thanks for the free membership – hope all is well – Josh
Thanks for your blog update Josh. Hard to believe the boys are one already. You have a beautiful family. We sure miss all of you, but are thankful the Lord has continued to work in your lives, blessing you as you go. Thank you again for your investment in our family. We have a son, ready to take the next step to college, living for the lord because of your ministry to him and 180. We will be forever grateful. Give our best to Heidi and your family.
Nate’s a great young man and we had nothing to do with it – was our pleasure to come alongside you and Jeff as you trained him up. Will be great to see how God continues to mold and use him. Will tell the fam you said hi.
